Kenji Tada

Biography

Kenji Tada, born on August 8, 1974, in Osaka Prefecture's Eniwa District, is a Japanese comedian and member of the comedy duo COWCOW. As a regular performer at R-1 Gran Prix, he won the 2012 title and has since become known for his "伊勢丹の紙袋でーす" catchphrase. A self-proclaimed fan of the Japanese department store chain Ise-Dan, Tada often incorporates its branding into his acts and daily life, including wearing a distinctive suit with a similar checkered pattern.
