Biography

Stephen D. Newman is an American actor born January 20, 1943. He received a Drama Desk Award nomination for his portrayal of Philinte in the Broadway production of Molière's The Misanthrope in 1983. Additionally, he appeared in the 1982 film Sophie's Choice and played Barrett Marshall on the NBC daytime drama Texas from 1980-81.
