Charlie Hodge

Biography

Charlie Hodge was a talented American singer and musician who rose to prominence as Elvis Presley's confidant and best friend. Born in Decatur, Alabama, he began his music career at 17 in a gospel quartet before joining The Foggy River Boys, where he met Presley in 1955. After Presley became a national success, Hodge joined his entourage and appeared on network television as part of the Ozark Jubilee.
