Biography

Q Lazzarus was an American singer born on December 12, 1960, in Neptune Township, New Jersey, to a family of seven children. Inspired by a Broadway production at age 15, she pursued a music career after graduating from high school in 1979 and moved to New York City at 18. Her 1988 song "Goodbye Horses" became a cult classic after being featured in The Silence of the Lambs, cementing her legacy as a talented singer-songwriter.
