Joe Sentieri was a renowned Italian singer and actor, best known for his iconic song "Uno dei tanti", which gained international recognition after being translated into English by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller and recorded by Ben E. King as "(I Who Have Nothing)". He also achieved success in Italy with hits like "Piove (Ciao, ciao bambina)" and "Libellule". Sentieri's winning performance in the Canzonissima competition in 1959 marked his early career triumph.
