Juan Rodrigo is a Filipino stage, film and television actor, singer and model who is considered the father of the Filipino soap opera. He was discovered by his former talent manager Boy De Guia and began his career as a dancer before transitioning to modeling and acting in telenovelas like Mara Clara and Mula sa Puso. Rodrigo has appeared in notable films with iconic actresses Nora Aunor and Vilma Santos, earning him the FAMAS Best Supporting Actor award for Moral in 1982.
