Karin Viard is a French actress born in 1966 in Rouen. After training in drama, she made her screen debut in Étienne Chatiliez's Tatie Danielle (1990) and Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Marc Caro's Delicatessen (1991). She has alternated between comedies, dramas, and stage productions throughout her career, winning three César Awards for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress.
