Biography

Nikolai Sergeyev was a Soviet actor with a long and distinguished career. He made his screen debut in 1937 and rose to prominence with roles in older men, including an elderly worker in Iosif Kheifets' film "Big Family" (1954). This marked a turning point in his career, as he began to take on more mature characters, including the role of a miserly peasant in Mikael Shveytzer's "Stranger Kin" (1955).
