Biography
Waldemar Matuška was a Czech singer who gained popularity in his homeland during the 1960s and 1970s. He performed on various musical instruments before becoming an actor and singer, partnering with notable artists such as Karel Štědrý and Hana Hegerová. Matuška won the prestigious Zlatý slavík music poll twice, in 1962 and 1967, cementing his status as a beloved Czech entertainer. He later immigrated to the United States in 1986.
