Elisabeth Ferrier
Biography
Élisabeth Ferrier, a French actress, began her career in theatre, influenced by Jean Dasté, and later took her great-uncle's surname. She appeared in numerous classical plays from 1964 to 1980, including works by Brecht and Molière. After a long pause, she reprised her career in 2010 in Heiner Müller's Macbeth, before making her film debut in Éric Rohmer's L'Amour l'après-midi in 1972. She later returned to film in 1981, this time with Alain Corneau.
