Mehmet Esen

Biography

Mehmet Esen is a Turkish actor and director who began his career in theatre at age six after being inspired by Münir Özkul's performances. He later joined the Devrimci Ankara Sanat Tiyatrosu (DAST), where he experienced abuse, imprisonment, and mistreatment before eventually transitioning to screen acting in the early 1980s. Known for roles such as "The Lord of the Seagull" and "Muleteers", Esen has continued to perform successfully, with recent appearances in Turkish productions like "Ketenpere: Dalavere".
