Biography

Max Rufus Mosley was a British businessman and racing driver who served as president of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), governing body for Formula One. As a barrister and amateur racing driver, he co-founded March Engineering, a racing car constructor and Formula One team, and represented FOCA in negotiations leading to the Concorde Agreement. Mosley was elected president of FISA in 1991 and succeeded as FIA president in 1993.
