Peter L. Larson
Biography
Peter Lars Larson is a renowned American fossil collector and researcher, head of the Black Hills Institute of Geological Research. He led the excavation of "Sue", one of the largest Tyrannosaurus rex specimens, which sparked controversy over its ownership. Larson has also faced scrutiny for his commercial fossil operations and was convicted of customs violations in 1996. His work continues to shape our understanding of dinosaur paleontology.
