Biography

Gōzō Sōma was a Japanese actor born on February 10, 1930, in Akita Prefecture. He graduated from Japan Film School's scriptwriting course and debuted in 1951 in the film "Dokko Ii Nakiru." Notable for his long career, Sōma received the "Eternal Work Achievement Award" in 1993 for his 43 years of acting, and showcased his skiing skills in a TV drama. He passed away on May 21, 2004, at 74.
