Mya Taylor is a talented American actress and singer born on March 28, 1991, in Houston, Texas. After struggling to find employment due to her gender identity, she gained confidence through therapy and eventually came out as transgender in January 2013. Her breakthrough role as Alexandra in the 2015 film Tangerine earned her a Best Supporting Female award at the Independent Spirit Awards.
