Bernard Pruvost was a French actor and non-professional artist known for his roles in several films by Bruno Dumont. He made his breakthrough at 57 with the lead role of Commandant Van der Weyden in a mini-series produced by Arte, followed by reprises in P'tit Quinquin and L'Empire. Pruvost worked as an ouvrier polyvalent before his passing at 68 in 2025.
