Carlos Cardán, born Carlos López Figueroa on November 3, 1932, was a Mexican actor known for his villainous roles in films and telenovelas. He began his career with the 1968 film "El escapulario" and went on to appear in over 150 productions. A skilled painter as well, Cardán's acting career spanned several decades before his passing on July 17, 2016, at the age of 83 due to health complications.
