Biography

Hedwig Schlichter was a versatile Austrian artist who began her training at Vienna's Academy for Music and Dramatic Arts. She went on to become a successful actress, appearing in notable films from 1929 to 1933, including "Mädchen in Uniform," where she played the memorable role of Miss von Kesten. Following the Nazi rise to power, Schlichter emigrated to Argentina, adopting the name Hedy Crilla and continuing her career in theater until her death in 1984.
