Isabelle Weingarten

Biography

Isabelle Weingarten was a French actress and model born in Paris on April 18, 1950, into an artistic family. She gained recognition for her roles in Robert Bresson's "Four Nights of a Dreamer" (1971) and Jean Eustache's "The Mother and the Whore" (1973). A skilled photographer, Weingarten worked extensively with Cahiers du Cinéma from 1986 until her death on August 3, 2020.
