György Bánffy was a Hungarian actor born on June 19, 1927, in Budapest, and passed away on September 3, 2010, in Korfuo. He began his career as an actor after studying at the acting school in Budapest from 1950 to 1954, later becoming involved with various theaters, including the National Theater of Pécs. Bánffy also served as a parliamentarian from 1985 to 1994 and received the prestigious Kossuth Award in 2001.
