Barbara Darrow was a Hollywood-born actress born to parents in the film industry. She began her career as a model, leading to film contracts with RKO Studios, where she appeared in B-movies like The Monster That Challenged The World and Queen of Outer Space. On television, she played Nurse Forester in NBC's Doctors' Hospital, and made guest appearances on popular shows such as The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show and Bachelor Father.
