Shana Dowdeswell was a Zimbabwean-born actress, known for her roles in "Mistress America" and "Choose." Born on April 1, 1989, in Harare, Zimbabwe, she began her acting career at eight and later appeared in a production of "Anne Frank" at the Paper Mill Playhouse. Her life was tragically cut short on December 12, 2012, when she died from alcohol poisoning in New York City.
