Tôru Hotohara, born in 1968, is a Japanese comedian and TV host affiliated with the Yoshimoto Kōgyal Co. Ltd. He is known for his work in the comedy duo Rain or Shine with Miyoshi Naganese, as well as his solo projects, including the restaurant Hoto Chan Kitchen, which he produced in 2002. Hotohara is also a golf enthusiast, having taken up the sport after being encouraged by fellow comedian Easton Nishimura.
