Ryan McGinley

Biography

Ryan McGinley is an American photographer born on October 17, 1977, in Ramsey, New Jersey. At 25, he became one of the youngest artists to have a solo show at the Whitney Museum of American Art in 2003, and was named Photographer of the Year by American Photo Magazine. He received the Young Photographer Infinity Award in 2007 and was honored at The Young Collectors Council's Artists Ball at the Guggenheim Museum in 2009.
