Biography

Ledisi, an American singer-songwriter, music producer, author, and actress, was born on March 28, 1972. She formed her debut band, LeSun Music, in 1995 and released her debut album Soulsinger in 2000, which featured the single "Take Time" and gained substantial airplay. Ledisi's subsequent albums, including Feeling Orange but Sometimes Blue and Lost & Found, earned her two Grammy nominations.
