Biography

Ziyue Zhao was a Chinese actor born in 1909 in ancient county of Gucheng, Shanxi province. He began his career as a teacher before joining Beijing Film Studio in 1951, where he appeared in over 40 films and TV dramas, often playing rural roles with comedic flair. After a successful stint at the studio, Zhao continued to work in television, leaving behind an oral memoir titled "Ziyue Zhao Biography."
