Alexei Chernov

Biography

Aleksey Petrovich Chernov was a Soviet stage and film actor who began his career in theater, graduating from the Moscow Theater School in 1934. He made his screen debut in 1965 in an adaptation of Lermontov's novel 'A Hero of Our Time', reprising the role two years later. A regular at Gorky Film Studio since 1967, he appeared in notable films such as "The Dawns Here Are Quiet" (1972).
