Biography

Aleksey Polevoy was a Soviet actor and theater director known for his work in the Moscow State Academic Theatre of Satire. He made his debut on screen in 1956 and gained recognition for his role as Balmashov in "Gusarskaya ballada" (1962). A pioneer of the popular TV program "Goluboy ogonok", Polevoy also worked in various Soviet theaters, including the Moscow State Academic Theatre of Satire and the Central Theatre of Transport.
