Sándor Góth

Biography

Sándor Góth was a Hungarian actor, director, and translator, born Manó Gutfreund in Pest, Hungary, on October 19, 1869, who co-founded the Vígszínház and later became a prominent figure at the Színművészeti Akadémia, serving as a teacher and director from 1932-33. He also worked with notable theaters including the Pesti Magyar Színház and Budapesti Operettszínház. Góth's career spanned multiple decades until his death in 1946.
