Akira Yamanouchi

Biography

Akira Yamanouchi was a Japanese actor born on July 11, 1921, in Tokyo's Minato ward. He began his career at 21, debuting in the 1942 film "Birds of Prey" and gaining popularity with roles in "The Navy" (1943) and other films throughout the 1940s. Yamanouchi went on to form the theater company Doraman Hatto and appeared in notable films like "Ryuji's Journey: The Crest of Man" (1965). He passed away on October 29, 1993, at age 72.
