Professor Lamberti

Biography

Professor Lamberti was a versatile performer who began his career in minstrel shows at age seven and later joined the Adam Forepaugh circus as a wire artist and juggler. He transitioned to theatre music, playing drums and xylophone, before enlisting in World War I. Following the war, he honed a comic xylophone act that brought him great success, including starring alongside "Fred" (the Great Waldo) in 1945's "Tonight and Every Night".
