Biography
Raphaël Diligent was a French artist, born on May 17, 1884, in Flize, Ardennes. As a sculptor, he studied under Auguste Rodin and François Pompon, creating notable works such as a bust of Camille Claudel and several animal sculptures. He also ventured into acting, appearing in films like "L'Atalante" (1934) and "Zéro de conduite" (1933), often collaborating with artist and journalist Fanny Clar on illustration projects.
