Gilles Margaritis
Biography
Gilles Margaritis, born in Paris on March 12, 1912, became an orphan after his father's death in World War I. He later found a tutor in renowned author Roger Martin du Gard. A member of the Audiovisual family, Margaritis began his acting career in 1934 with notable roles in "L'Atalante" and "Opéra-musette," before transitioning to directing with the 1946 short film "L'Homme."
