He received the Venla Award for Best Male Lead in 2000 for his role in the TV series "Raid," and won the Jussi Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1996 for his part in the film "Joulubileet." Lohtander has also appeared in numerous TV productions, films, stage plays, and radio dramas throughout his career.
