Biography

Wei Ping-ao was a Hong Kong-based Chinese actor who began his career at Shaw Brothers Studio. He gained notoriety for dubbing his own voice as the cunning interpreters in Bruce Lee's 1972 films Fist of Fury and Way of the Dragon. Wei also appeared in notable roles in Deaf Mute Heroine (1971) and Fists of Bruce Lee (1978), before succumbing to jaundice in his later years, passing away on December 3, 1989, in Hong Kong.
