Peter Tammer

Biography

Peter Julian Tammer is an Australian film director and cinematographer born in Melbourne, Australia in 1943. He began working in the industry at 19, editing for various companies and later creating his own independent short films, including "And He Shall Rise Again" (1964) and "Beethoven and all that Jazz" (1964). A founding member of the Melbourne Film-maker's Co-op, Tammer co-produced a notable programme of shorts with his wife Monique.
