Biography

Birthe Wilke was a Danish singer and winner of the 1961 award for Best Female Vocalist in Denmark. At just 25 years old, she gained international recognition for her performances at the Eurovision Song Contest, where she finished third with partner Gustav Winckler in 1957. Her music career spanned touring across Europe and the United States, as well as appearances in Danish films, including "Reptilicus".
