Sonia Arova

Biography

Sonia Arova was a Bulgarian ballerina born Sophie Errio on June 20, 1927. She trained in Paris with Olga Preobrajenska and later joined the International Ballet. A notable highlight of her career was her role as a ballerina in the 1955 film "The Sorcerer's Apprentice".
