Jaz Coleman is a British singer and musician who rose to prominence in the early 1980s as lead vocalist and keyboardist of post-punk group Killing Joke. Known for his raspy baritone voice and intense stage presence, Coleman has been praised by critics and fellow musicians alike, including James Hetfield. The band received the "Innovator Award" at the 2010 Classic Rock Roll of Honour in recognition of their influential work.
