Olga Yakovleva

Biography

Olga Yakovleva was born in Tambov on March 14, 1941, and grew up moving frequently due to her father's various industrial postings. She trained at several theaters before graduating from the State Academy of Theatre Arts in Moscow, where she joined the troupe of the Leninist Komsomol Theatre in 1962. Her collaboration with renowned director Aleksandr V. Efros, who became her creative partner, led to notable performances in his productions, including "Sesternya" and "Ovtsinets".
