Miúcha

Biography

Miúcha, born Heloísa Maria Buarque de Hollanda, was a Brazilian singer and composer known for her work with João Gilberto. She was part of the show "Tom, Vinícius, Toquinho" alongside Tom Jobim and Vinicius de Moraes, and later recorded with Stan Getz on the album "The Best of Two Worlds". A member of a musical family, Miúcha was also the second wife and mother of singer Bebel Gilberto.
