Carl Gerard was a Danish-American actor who appeared in early Hollywood films. Notable roles include Otto in "So This Is Love" (1928) and Secretary Brooks in "That Certain Thing" (1928). He also collaborated with Boris Karloff in the 1931 film "The Public Defender." Gerard was married to actress Ethel Grey Terry from 1910 until her death in 1931.
