Friedrich Maurer was a German actor born on April 17, 1901, in Mannheim. He began his career in theater, landing his first engagement in Frankfurt am Main in 1924, and later worked with prominent companies in West Berlin and Munich. Maurer appeared in numerous films and television productions, often in supporting roles, before joining the Bavarian State Theater in Munich, where he remained until his death in 1980.
