Biography

Cristian Mercado is a Bolivian theater and film actor known for his lead roles in Sena/Quina, la inmortalidad del cangrejo, Undertow (Contracorriente), and Che: Part Two. He has also appeared in The 33 of San Jose, a film based on the true story of miners trapped in Chile. Mercado won Best Actor Award at Rapa Nui Film Festival in Chile in 2011 and the Eduardo Abaroa Plurinational Price Bolivia for his theater work in 2014.
