Trinidad Silva

Biography

Trinidad Silva Jr., born January 30, 1950, in Mission, Texas, began his acting career in the mid-1970s with roles on "Baretta" and in films like "Alambrista!" and "El Norte." A breakthrough came when he played Jesus Martinez, a complex character that defied Latino stereotypes, on "Hill Street Blues." His life was tragically cut short in 1988 when he died in a car accident while filming "UHF."
