Francine Beers

Biography

Francine Beers was born on November 26, 1924, in Brooklyn, New York, to Harry and Sadie Beers. She began her career singing radio jingles in the 1930s and later worked for Young & Rubicam advertising before becoming an actress in 1964. With a diverse career spanning nearly six decades, she is perhaps best known for roles such as Mrs. Lefkowitz in "In Her Shoes" and Judge Janis Silver on "Law and Order".
