Biography

Jean-Pierre Beauviala was a French polydisciplined artist whose inventive spirit led to numerous groundbreaking contributions in electronics and cinema. In the 1960s, he pioneered innovative camera techniques while pursuing his doctoral studies in electrical engineering from the University of Grenoble. This expertise later translated into work as a consultant for Éclair and founder of his own company.
