Biography

Pēteris Martinsons was a Latvian ceramist and art teacher born in Daugavpils in 1931. He gained recognition for his work on the film "Puika" (1977) as well as "Tumšie brieži" (2006). A member of the International Academy of Ceramics, Martinsons was also a published illustrator and created dishes from various materials.
