Biography

John Bright is a British costume designer and founder of Cosprop costume house, known for his collaborations on Merchant Ivory Productions. He won the Oscar for Best Costumes in 1986 for A Room with a View, sharing the win with Jenny Beavan. Bright has been nominated six times for the Academy Award for Best Costume Design.
