Biography

Carlo Campanini was an Italian actor, singer, and comedian born in Turin on October 5, 1906. He began his career in the late 1920s, initially touring with the prose company Casaleggio in Argentina and later becoming a leading actor in the company of Vivienne D'Arys. Campanini made his film debut in 1939 and became a regular presence in comedy films, often playing sidekick or character roles.
